This is a method of determining the catheter size by measuring the circumference of a flaccid penis using a measuring tape. The male anatomy is measured at the shaft, where its diameter is the largest.
If it looks like you range between two sizes, select the smaller size. The material of the external catheter is flexible and should ensure a snug fit. Choosing a larger size might result in leakage. The length of the penis does not need to be measured. Male external catheters fit most penis lengths, except when the penis is very small or retracted.
Place the guide over the flaccid penis behind the head and choose the size that fits best. Cut out the measuring tape, and place it around the flaccid penis behind the head. Measure the circumference of the penis and then divide the result by 3.14. Eg: 12cm / 3.14 = 3.8cm (38mm). If you still have doubts we recommend you order the smaller size.
