Multicrew lets players serve as crewmembers on ships and SRVs. It instantly transfers them to a secondary bridge position via telepresence (drop-in matchmaking). It is accessed via a Social tab option in the Comms panel of the HUD and activates voice-chat. Only ships and SRVs with 2 or more pilot seats are Multicrew-compatible.

These include "Mode Toggle" to go into the Gunner 360 view while seated as a gunner, as well as primary/secondary fire. Mutlicrew hotkeys must be set for gunner seats so that the gunner can use firegroups and switch to the Gunner View while seated.

Only ships that have extra seats can allow for extra crew members; smallest multicrew ship is the adder, smallest one that can launch fighters is the keelback. While your crewmember is in your ship, their ship will despawn; they'll be perfectly safe.
