Maninagar is an area of Ahmedabad city, Gujarat, India. It is located in the southern part of the city and an important area of the city. It can be divided into two regions - Maninagar East and Maninagar West, separated by the Maninagar Railway Station.

Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj is the current spiritual leader of Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan. He is the heir to Ved Ratna Acharya Shree Purushottampriyadasji Swamishree Maharaj, and sixth in the lineage of ascetic Acharyas, which descends directly from Lord Shree Swaminarayan.

Maninagar is one of the 182 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Gujarat state in India. [2][3] It is part of Ahmedabad district and is one of the 7 assembly constituencies which make up Ahmedabad West Lok Sabha seat.
