In 2014, his label marked a turnover of over INR 1 Billion (US$15 Million). Malhotra started his career as a model, while studying at the Elphinstone College.

His label is synonymous with opulent, contemporary Indian wear. Manish Malhotra tells design stories in a language profuse with elegance, ultra-femininity and unapologetic glamour. His intention has been to create glamorous ensembles with Indian traditional colours, textures, embroideries, and craftsmanship.

Launched in 2005, his eponymous label Manish Malhotra will be completing 15 years this July in 2020 with a team of 700 artists, craftsmen and professionals.
