Boring old Ron Manager droning on about the Solway Harvester, I half expected him to make a nostalgic mention of “jumpers for goal posts” at the end. Simply mind numbingly TEDIOUS.

2022年9月6日 · Things I like about Manx Radio: Consistency, chat with guests and phone ins, variety, current affairs, event coverage, Sport, TT, MGP, S100 etc. Things I don't like about Manx Radio: Sloppy speech of quite a few presenters who pass their lazy diction off as a Manx accent. Having co-presenters who add nothing but a lot of nonsense to programmes.

2022年9月6日 · Than Manx Radio it is. I would still listen to several DAB or internet station in preference and a few years ago that option simply wasn’t there. Local Radio in all guises really needs to up its game to survive.

2022年9月6日 · I occasionally ask my 'intelligent' speaker to play Manx Radio and it only seems to do AM. On a weekend it is that Caroline stuff only, which is a bit annoying. If it is an Alexa, just ask her to play Manx Radio FM.

2024年9月30日 · The Manx radio report talks about them progressing by rolling out DAB+ at a time when Use of actual radio tuners is dropping and people are using internet stations and services like tunein, Alexa and Google more and more. That should tell us all we need to know about how progressive and forward thinking they are.
