I was about to go for SR 6015 when someone I know told that even though the power rating of SR 6015 is mentioned as 120 W per channel (for 9.2) in reality the actual power distribution is different and lower for a few channels.

A lot of misunderstanding about power rating has been created by claiming the highest possible output power as a unique selling point.

I absolutely love the 1609 and want to find other use for it, but I’m looking for more power, channels, the new pre amp mode, and the gaming features like VBR and 4K 120hz.

Compared to latest Cinema units 8015/6700 lacks the extra hdmi connections, 4 sub pre-outs, Dirac Live update. In Audioholics bench test 8015 met Marantz guarantee 70% of rated 2CH driven power output for 5ch to actually 7channels driven.

2021年3月1日 · Seems to me the 7015 would be worth it just for the ability to turn off the amps if you ever want to upgrade to separates. The other big reason to get the 7015 IMHO is the new Zone 2/Zone 3 "Source" input that allows 2 channel PCM downmix of multichannel audio playing in your main zone.

2020年10月5日 · The Marantz 6015, 7015 and 8015 receivers appear, from pictures to have a large power supply transformer that's missing from lesser Marantz pictures and Denon doesn't show pictures at all, maybe for a reason. And Marantz may be quiet about this, more of a trade secret type of thing.

2022年8月21日 · If we compare the Denon X4700H/Marantz to high end unit Trinnov Altitude 16 which would be kind of reference unit for home theater then technically the Denon is closer to it than Marantz 7015. Trinnov isn`t tuned by ear, their engineers will go by measurements as we see they are quite superior in every level and it wouldn´t happen accidently!

2008年5月29日 · Good morning gentlemen, I've upgraded my system recently and I have got Marantz SR-7015 instead of Onkyo TX-NR696 to pair with KEF iQ90 front speakers, iQ60c center and iQ10 rears. The first impression was just WOW - sound became bass and details :) But I'm not sure if Audissey calibration...
