2017年2月2日 · I recently purchased a Marantz PM-14s1 integrated amp. Got a great price as it was a return to a dealer because the previous owner did not realize there were no speaker switches for A/B. At least that is the story. The unit is pristine, beautifully constructed, and I am trying too hard to like it so far.

2019年12月29日 · There is a thread concerning the new volume control on the Marantz PM 8006 in a german forum. It seems to be very difficult to regulate the volume in the lower levels, especially with the remote control it seems to be nearly impossible - the steps are too big. This seems to be only a problem with the Europe versions of the Marantz PM 8006.

2018年8月17日 · While the Marantz PM-14S1 wasn't a personal project for Marantz legendary designer Ken Ishiwata, it is built to the same exacting standards and is an exemplary performer. While for the price the PM-8005/6 is an excellent unit, it does not compare to it and certainly IMO cannot compete with the Reference units.

2019年10月12日 · Marantz Reference PM 14s1 would be better in build quality, looks and performance than the SV-237mk. But....you would need to move up to the Vincent SV-700 and perhaps the SV-800 to get into the performance level of the Marantz Reference PM 14 s1.

I've been a fan of Marantz receivers and amps since the early 70's when I worked for a year at Delphi Custom Stereo. Marantz receivers were our top sellers. 2024年10月29日 · I need help understanding why. I have a Marantz integrated. When I do record out from it to the headphone amp, I get sound on all the inputs, except record in. Isn't record in and out supposed to form a loop? Wouldn't you want to be able to record from record in? I get sound from the speakers. But nothing on the headphone amp.
