At delivery, the CWP unit is filled with a preservation and anti- freeze solution containing less than 1 percent formaldehyde and 10 percent glycerine. This solution must be thoroughly rinsed from the unit before the CWP unit is put into operation. Make sure that no residual formaldehyde can be detected before connecting patients.
