Dr Mark Iliffe. After submitting his PhD in 2016, Mark became a research fellow at the N/LAB at University of Nottingham, as well as advising the World Bank’s Social, Urban, Rural, Resilience Global Practice on geospatial information, a position he had originally started as part of his CDT internship in 2011.

As State Director (QLD), Mark oversees the provision of advice and services involving transport modelling, project evaluation, economic assessment and transport planning to clients with interests in Queensland. Mark has 15 years-years of transport planning experience in various senior roles with state and local government and the private sector.

At the N-Lab I lead research into Geospatial Science and International Development. Specifically, my research interests include Geospatial Information Systems, Data Driven Development, Consumer Behaviour and Community Mapping with a diverse publication record across high impact peer reviewed journals and conferences.
