Mary de Bohun, the first wife of King Henry IV was born circa 1368, the daughter of Humphrey de Bohun, 7th Earl of Hereford, and Joan Fitzalan (1347/48-1419), the daughter of Richard FitzAlan, 10th Earl of Arundel, and Eleanor of Lancaster.

Mary de Bohun, daughter and co-heir of Humphrey de Bohun, earl of Hereford and Essex, married Henry Bolingbroke, but died a few years before he became king of England as Henry IV. Henry then married Joanna of Navarre (c. 1370–1437).
