This course is designed for students that do not qualify for MAT141 or MAT142, but intend to complete MAT14+ College Mathematics for their degree path. Review of Basic Arithmetic and Introductory Algebra as needed.

Studies polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions and their inverses. Four class hours. Not open for credit to students who have credit in MAT 141 or higher. Prerequisite: MAT 136 (with a minimum grade of C) or equivalent by placement.

MAT 140/141/142: College Mathematics College level mathematics course and its applications to real-life problems. Topics include set theory, probability, statistics, finance, and geometry.
