This course is a continuation of Math 140. Topics include techniques of integration, improper integrals, applications of integration (such as volumes, work, arc length, moments), inverse functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, sequences and series.

The course: Math 141 -- Calculus for the Natural Sciences, II: Math 141 is the second semester of a first-year course in calculus for students who desire an emphasis on applications to physics and engineering, and who might later decide to take second-year calculus.

Students will demonstrate understanding of the following concepts: Limits and Continuity of Functions, The Derivative, Applications of the Derivative: Study of Graphs, Optimization, Mean Value Theorem, The Integral, The Fundamental Theorems of Calculus.
