Founded in July 2013, Yayasan Masyarakat dan Perikanan Indonesia (MDPI) is a national NGO on a mission to empower coastal communities to achieve sustainability by supporting community organization and harnessing market forces. Our vision is thriving coastal communities who are active participants and leaders in sustainable fisheries management.

We work with small-scale artisanal fisheries to foster sustainable, equitable, and traceable seafood supply chains. MDPI aims for real and robust long-term results in the communities we engage in. Our key competencies are: Fisheries data and governance – We create the mechanisms and data inputs needed for adaptive fisheries management.

MDPI dan BRIN resmi memperkuat kolaborasi terkait riset ilmiah, inovasi teknologi, dan pemberdayaan nelayan kecil melalui penandatanganan Perjanjian Kerja Sama pada Selasa, 10 September 2024 lalu. Kolaborasi ini mendukung sertifikasi ecolabelling dan memastikan ketelusuran hasil tangkapan.

2022年5月17日 · The study tackled the case of the NGO “The Women’s Welfare Society” in India and intended to establish the relationship between globalization and NGOs in enhancing women’s empowerment. This NGO is active in the provision of training and advocacy and serves abused women and children.
