The German Me-163 Komet was the worlds first and only rocket-powered fighter. Designed as a rapid response interceptor to combat the US daylight bombing raids, the Komet was years ahead of anything the allies possessed with speeds upwards of 600mph and an incredible rate of climb.

Meant for outdoor flying, the Kraftei Me 163 is built for speed but can also handle slow, stable flight just as easily as high speed flight. Based off the design of the rocket-powered Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet, Skynetic's version is powered by a brushless motor for easy hand launches, with a sensible propeller design for easy belly landings.

This latest V2 version of the Durafly Me-163 retains some of the unique features of the original version, with the addition of some new ones. The V2 features a gravity release scale 'dolly' style undercarriage making the take-off procedure less complicated whilst reducing weight.
