ST NMED is only a few miles away from arriving at East Deerfield yard. Tied down on the Conn River at PCA. 212 is fired up so all four units are operating. This is now a rare occurence as the GP35's are retired. ST 212 leads six other engines out of the East leg of the Y in Ayer.

Former MEC GP35 216 at Danville Junction being transferred to the Saint Lawrence & Atlantic Railroad on its way to the Conway Senic Railroad. The engine recently received a new coat of paint in a MEC livery.

4 天之前 · CSRR is planning to acquire this high hood GP35, sometime in April. And since there is already a 252 thread, it only makes sense to have an official 216 thread as well! Based on the Wheel Report it will be painted at Waterville in a Maine Central heritage scheme - the harvest gold variety (PH1 with the rectangle logos).

Having just cut their train off in East Deerfield Yard, Massachusetts, another typically eclectic lash-up of Guilford Rail System four-axle power, in this case formed of GP40 No. B&M 332, high nose GP35 No. ST 216, and wide-cab GP40-2W No. MEC 515, proceed into the locomotive servicing tracks, on March 18th, 2005.
