I would generally say a mechashift that combines 2+ firearm forms would be even better than those, but hunter level combat seems to have smacking a hoe do way more damage than firearms. If the Mechashift is damaged you lose both functions, if you need less weight and don't need one of the two functions you're still stuck with it and the Mechashift would probably be a lot more expensive.
