2019年3月2日 · The Memtest64 it self, does not find any errors, but the windows becomes slow. screen goes black, weird artifacts show up on screen. other programs fail to operate normally. but when i ran Memtest86 and prime95 system was stable, no errors and no significant freeze. whats wrong with Techpowerup Memtest64? 2023年3月8日 · Memtest64 is what I'd recommend, however from USB on boot, hmm, now checked looks like memtest64 does not have USB boot option. Then there is also W10 built in diagnostic, should work just as well W10 mem diagnostic

2021年4月26日 · Hello, using memtest with 2 8gb sticks of ram. Was getting over 5k errors then a fail message with both the sticks in together. Tried then individually in each slot and they all ran several hours with no errors on either stick or either slot. Put then both back in and 5k errors within 2 minutes...

2014年4月5日 · MemTest86 and MemTest64 (which seems to be just a 64-bit Windows port of MemTest86) are almost completely useless for testing overclock stability. They are mostly based on predetermined bit patterns that come nowhere near to simulating a real world scenario of memory usage.

2017年4月20日 · If you select a sufficiently large test size, it will send everything to pagefile, freeing memory to test, except for the kernel, which is roughly 1 GB. I guess that's true. Good point.
