If the player chooses to cut open MEWO in BLACK SPACE, she will no longer appear in WHITE SPACE on ONE DAY LEFT of the OMORI ROUTE and the NEUTRAL ENDINGS of the SUNNY ROUTE. As shown in the 2014 reveal trailer, MEWO was originally planned to be still living with SUNNY in his house, as opposed to being missing from the household in the present day.

He can either cut open MEWO, or simply ignore MEWO's presence and get the key from BUTLER and STAB to leave. There is no obligation that OMORI must cut open MEWO to exit the room. Along with that, this area is the only BLACK SPACE area where the key doesn't have to be collected as no RED HANDS will spawn upon doing so.

Repeatedly choosing 'yes' will slowly result in Mewo growing more panicked over Omori's intentions, until he eventually slices her open, killing her. If Mewo is killed, the Butler will ask if Omori is "waiting for something to happen" when spoken to.
