Meteion [ˈmiː.ti.ɒn] is a character from Final Fantasy XIV, first appearing in the expansion Endwalker. She is a creature created in the facility Elpis by the ancient Hermes prior to the sundering. She and her sisters serve as the main antagonists of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker.

So I just finished the cutscene where Meteion reveals what she found and Hermes wipes their memories, and I guess there’s some step of logic I’m missing here cause I’m really confused. So I get that her answer was that life is pointless/death is the only hope for a flawed existence.
