All MiG 17s were armed with one N-37D (37mm) cannon and two NR-23 (23 mm) cannons, but, as noted above, the Lim 6bis is unique to Poland and designed as a ground attack fighter. For this role the Lim 6bis and Lim 6R also carried two UB-16-57 air-to-ground rocket pods and had a drag chute located under its rudder.

They are listed for use with the MiG-17, MiG-19, and the MiG-21, but I have also seen them carried on Syrian L-39s. The pods are simple to assemble, being cast in two parts.

2010年7月25日 · I'm curious now to learn about MiG-17F's fitted with inboard pylons for rocket pods (I assume they never carried bombs there). I'm also curious to learn about what types of munitions ground-attack Frescos carried...namely the Lim-6bis.
