How do you confederate as Miao Ying? : r/totalwarhammer - Reddit
2022年3月2日 · This is about standard timing for me for a first confederation as miao ying. I was iirc about 3x their strength rating or more, but they had 2 reasonable armies that I didn't destroy for a better ratio or anything, I'd just gotten 3, maybe even 4, fairly good armies on 3 provinces by relying on ally troops to build up my armies and keeping them ...
The Miao Ying campaign experience : r/totalwar - Reddit
As a first-time Miao Ying, I think that Clan Eshin and Lokhir Fellheart constitute a bit more than a minor threat. The utter incompetence of so many of the AI factions compounds it, and the fact that your brother will steal settlements out from under you makes it even more frustrating.
Tips for Miao Ying on IE? : r/totalwar - Reddit
2023年2月18日 · In Miao’s army, try to put 5-6 jade warriors, 4 peasant spearmen, keep the sky junk and fill the rest with archers of any kind. Try and protect the sky junk, but sometimes I lose it at Po Mei siege, to Eshin or Lokhir. Not the end of world if you do. With veterancy they will carry you through the campaign with Cathay.

Guide to playing Miao Ying : r/totalwar - Reddit
2022年1月12日 · Try to start this around turn 4 or 5 as it allows you to unify your starting province and start a second army, which you then fund with the loot from Miao's "Watchers on the Wall". This gives you a really strong opening where you have a lot more options for controlling pressure on the gates, rather than fighting endless defensive sieges against ...
Best way to use Miao Ying ? : r/totalwar - Reddit
2022年2月24日 · Sorry if this is a noob question. I started a Grand Cathy game about 2 or 3 days ago. While I love everything about them. Whenever I played a battle with Miao Ying. I felt a little lost on how to best use her. On one hand I feel the need to be in dragon form most of the time.
Miao Ying struggles : r/totalwarhammer - Reddit
2023年2月13日 · Miao Ying was the last faction I played through with and it's my favorite. I play on vh/vh, too. You probably won't have access to t4 units. Your dragon-blooded shogungan are probably most important. On maps with choke points, wall of fire can kill entire armies and in Cathay, there are a lot of really good ones.
Advice with Miao Ying? : r/totalwar - Reddit
2022年2月21日 · As far as the rebels in the south. I took that city on turn 4, managed to fight an army outside the city. But in my first go I fought them in the city. Just have to sorta slow push your way in and blast them with archers. Use Miao to take out towers and tie down their archers and being in harmony to get the spawn in unit helps a lot as well.
Opinions on Miao and Zhao Ming? Who is your prefenece and why?
2022年2月5日 · Love Miao Ying, but her faction effects just aren’t as good. There’s lots of ways to reduce corruption, you rarely fight DoC itself and the Ammo is a gorgeous boon, but imo Zhao’s caravan bonus and recruit rank for Alchemists are just more useful throughout the whole campaign, and the Armour is nice too.
Grand Cathay Campaign: Miao Ying Early Turns : r/totalwar - Reddit
2022年2月20日 · For those of you who have had some success with Miao Ying, I’d be curious to hear how you approached the early turns. My first campaign as Cathay went to hell almost immediately. I was playing a campaign on Hard. First turn, defeat the rebel army and recruit. Second turn capture the Mines and recruit two additional units.
