Here is an example Of course the "sport" model was really like 5 more hp and some fancy body work. But still i was jealous. 2022年12月27日 · Remove push rod (which connects headlights housing to headlight motor), use a screwdriver and gently pry against the housing to pop the push rod off, it's all ball/cup type socket At this point you should be able to freely rotate the headlight up and down by hand, I recommend leaving the headlight housing in place until everything looks straight.

You will need to rebuild the lights with the light unit at the back of the pop up housing, rather than using the current light. So it’s quite the custom job, but doable.

The best part of the pop-ups to me is the charm, and community around them. People go wild for pop-ups. They will yell at me all the time screaming "WOOO MIATA!" and then I give them the pop-up wave. Does it make it a better car? Nah. It really depends what you truly want from the car. If you want it for that charm and community, get one.

2020年6月22日 · Different engines for the 90-93 and 94-97. If you want a 1.6 look for ones with the long nose crank. I think any 1.8 should be fine but they came in different packages depending on when they were bought from the dealships.
