I love ChrEdge, but Google over Bing any day... For most general questions, there isn't much of a difference between the two, but there are a lot more misses with Bing than Google for some detailed or specific questions. I also use Google's "mini-game" like features a lot (like flip a coin or roll a die when I need to make trivial decisions :P).

2023年4月18日 · Ive been trying, but im too used to the way Google presents results. Ive switched to Edge, but Bing just doesnt cut it for me. Google somehow gives me search results from a better group of sources. I dont know if its because its learned what i like or what, but basic google search is just better to me.

2024年1月18日 · I haven't used chrome in almost 6-7 years. I use Brave and then Edge because I like vertical tabs and after I switched to Mac. Edge is a very power efficient browser. And now I use Safari and deleted Edge from the device. Because a lot of Microsoft bloatware annoying so much a lot of functions I have never used.

Bing/copilot is Microsoft’s “nice to have”; if it becomes #1, destroying Google, Microsoft’s market cap goes up 60% (the value of Google relative to Microsoft), and will firmly lock in Microsoft as the most valuable company in the world by a mile. So Google has a defensive motivation and Microsoft has an offensive motivation.

Being able to chat with Bing via Edge to get quick information or help with web searches is incredibly useful. Microsoft has done a fantastic job at making Edge and Bing Chat feel tightly connected and complementary. As someone who spends a lot of time browsing the web, I absolutely love using Edge and Bing Chat together.

For me the fact it can stream (Netflix, Prime, HBO, etc) in native resolution (4K) over Chrome's capped 720p streams, without the need of third party extensions due to Hardware DRM, in case you consume this type of content is a big plus.
