2020年8月23日 · Gap usually means higher POI. I only pattern Guns standing and mounting like I'm about to shoot a Clay target. Not bench rested. You need to imitate natural conditions. 2009年12月15日 · Remington installed the mid bead on my 28" 11/87 centered on a post exactly 13 1/2" from the front bead. I installed the mid bead on my 28" Ruger Red Label between posts exactly 14 1/2" from the front bead. Both seem to work equally well, I think you'll find some variation in the distance depending on manufacturer and barrel length. John C. Saubak

2019年11月25日 · According to Beretta's data, this gun's adjustable rib allows POI to be set from "50/50 to 100/0". Therefore, it is possible with this gun to set the rib to such a steep downward slope that even an eye height that gives a "no-gap-between-the-beads" Figure-8 bead alignment will still yield a really high POI (likely the 100/0 as Beretta states).

2023年9月19日 · The mid bead is a reference point which lines up with the front bead. Basic geometry: distance between two points is a straight line. Go home look in a mirror larger enough for you the see yourself head and shoulders.

2016年4月23日 · Have student close eyes and shoulder gun to what "feels" right and open their eyes. If they are looking down the rib that's a good start. If your looking down the barrel from the muzzle take note of where their eyes are. Add a clothespin to the rib between the center and mid bead and see if you can see their dominant eye centered in the gap.
