Jeng-Min Chiou received the Ph.D. degree in statistics from the University of California at Davis, Davis, CA, USA, in 1997. He is currently a Distinguished Research Fellow with the Institute of Statistical Science, Academia Sinica. He is also a fellow of the American Statistical Association and Institute of Mathematical Statistics.
