2011年2月26日 · To my knowledge, Mini's don't run into the same reliability issues as AR's and AK's because the gas system is open. Once the piston has moved far enough to cycle the action, all the excess gas is vented into the forearm, so they aren't as vulnerable to over gassing as other SBR's. There is no gas tube to trap the gas in the system.

I make these really neato 1.5" wide Nylon Slings that would work just bitchin' on that gun. I always emphasize side mounted slings for Carbines, this one already has the side mounted swivels. so it would be a 5 minute job to attach it.

2015年11月26日 · Basically the mini 30 and mini 14 are ammo sensitive, most probably because the gas port is too close to the chamber giving an exaggerated pressure curve to the gas system and slide. Likely neither of the Mini 30's rifles used in the tables had a reduced size gas bushing and were dealing with full pressure cycling.
