2009年8月1日 · I have a Mio A701 from 2 years ago and until few weeks ago the phone works normally. Only when I used the car kit for GPS it sometimes gives the message "missing SIM". I suspected that the cause is the car shaking. I did a restart and everything was ok. These days the message appears not in the car but when the phone was in my pocket.

2009年5月25日 · Hi all, I have Mio A701 with WM 6.1. My IGO 8 did not find the GPS. I did a hard reset which did not fix the problem. Does anybody know how this issue can be resolved? Many thanks, Tsabar.

2006年7月24日 · Since all the development has been focused on HTC devices, I am trying to use as much as has been developed here for hacking the Mio A701 ROM. Its device alias is ScoterUT. I had a Wallaby 3 years ago, while all these tools were in the development phase so I am familiarized with them.

2006年7月4日 · ====> NOTE: this is actually a folder. don't copy the file YET to your mio. first, unzip it in your laptop/pc, then copy the entire folder to your mio. there should be 6 files inside; one of which is the cab file you need to execute). once that's installed, you then go to step 2 which you simply execute as it's already a cab file. -rob

2007年10月10日 · I had a Mio A701 until a week ago. Had exactly the same problems as well. The Kaiser has none of the problems the Mio had. No 2 sec delay (I find myself waiting 2 secs before answering by shear habit). Tomtom launches within about 20 sec. With the Mio I had to launch Memory Map to get a fix and then open Tomtom. The Kaiser is so much better and ...
