The Dassault Mirage III (French pronunciation: [miʁaʒ]) is a family of single/dual-seat, single-engine, fighter aircraft developed and manufactured by French aircraft company Dassault Aviation. It was the first Western European combat aircraft to exceed Mach 2 in horizontal flight, [1] which it achieved on 24 October 1958. [2]

Introduced in Update "Starfighters", the Mirage IIIC is a very stereotypical French delta wing fighter, featuring a powerful engine, 30 mm cannons, and a decent radar for high altitude combat. It uses the Magic 1 and Matra R530E as its main armament.

2021年6月14日 · I've been hearing this since the introduction of the Mirage 3E, that it gets an RWR and Flare pod and a slightly stronger engine but weighs more and it is worse performance-wise than the 3C.

2023年8月30日 · Yeah, you do not play the 3C anymore lol. You play 3E and take the L in maneuverability, but get flares in return that you badly need to survive.

2020年10月9日 · July 7, 1961, saw the first 1/2 Cigognes fighter squadron’s Mirage III C land in Dijon-Longvic airfield. The Mirage III entered operational service with the French Air Force on December 19 that same year, and with it, French fighter pilots entered the days of bi-sonic flight.
