2006年3月5日 · To put it more simply, the M-1 consists of two loudspeakers per side, acting in unison—sort of a two-for-one special. The question is, why would Mirage want to create a bipolar loudspeaker?

For the 1967 season, JWAE built and raced the M1, a sports prototype based on the Ford GT40. The M1 used the standard Ford GT40 V8 engine in various capacities up to 5.7 litres. The highlight of the M1's short racing career was without doubt the victory in the 1967 Spa-Francorchamps 1000 km by Jacky Ickx and Dick Thompson in chassis M.1003.

Each band consists of a ハイパーポリック dome tweeter that maintains quick transient characteristics and low distortion rate flat response over a 180 degree directional range in the high-frequency range. 2007年12月9日 · Here we examine the newest version of the M-1, Mirage's flagship M-1si. Externally, the biggest Mirage is virtually identical to the M-1 which preceded it. The M-1si is marginally larger, but you'd have to put the two models side by side to notice the change.

Due to the new bodywork and not being ordered by Ford Motor Company, the cars were not named GT40, but Mirage M1s. The Mirage debuted at the Le Mans trails and first raced in anger at the 1967 Monza 1000km. Both cars broke down, but 10 days later Jacky Ickx and Dick Thompson won the 1000km of SPA in the wet with a Holman & Moody 351 engine.
