2022年11月14日 · When I decided on the M7si's it was a 5 way audition sound off with the Vandy 2ce's, Martin Logan Aerius, Thiel CS 1.5's and B&W 805's. At the time (1996 approx) all of these were in the $2k give or take/pair price range. The 2ce's are still current in 2022 but sell for $3,500 and the B&W 805's newest are $8k!! Lot's of inflation at B&W!

2011年7月10日 · On the Mirage the sound from the front and rear are in phase, not the case with dipoles. I sold M series speakers for several years and run M3si in my main system currently. They like a lot of power, your Yamaha should be fine. They do not like to be close to the back wall. They sound quite different from direct radiating speakers.

JA measured the Mirage M-7si with the DRA Labs MLSSA system and a calibrated DPS microphone; he provided me with the results following my listening tests. As expected from the auditioning, the Mirage's sensitivity was estimated at a low 82.5dB/W/m (B-weighted). Its impedance is shown in fig.1.

2015年2月23日 · Mirage's M_si series is great. The M7si is OK but from the M5si on up they're awesome! I've had miy M5si's for almost 19 years now and have no intention of swapping them out.
