2024年10月5日 · Some routes had deep character stories, while others were more about touching love stories. This is probably due to the different writers. The game’s main theme is always tied to Misa’s career path and falling in love with a ghost right?, so the flow and endings of each route can become a bit repetitive and predictable as you progressed.

Protagonist Misa Isshiki is a second-year high school student. It was around the beginning of fall when her best friend said this to her, which gave her a shock. “I don’t believe in being spirited away, so I’m alright.” That’s right, she doesn’t believe in it. She just… feels lost because of a major distress—her career path.

9 R.I.P. is a Japanese otome visual novel with mild horror mystery elements for the Nintendo Switch. Developed by Otomate and published by Idea Factory, it was originally released June 29th, 2023. It was later released in English by Idea Factory International on October 15th, 2024.
