2009年7月13日 · This car is fitted with the F9Q engine which is NOT mitsubishi but a Renault engine. It is fitted in several renault models and even in the wee Nissan micra and Vauxhall Vivaro,Renault kangoo and Laguna and LOTS more. The scanner is OBD11 and EOBD11 compliant as well as CAN compliant. The protocol for the Carisma ECU is KWP2000.

2010年7月17日 · I am the happy owner of a Mitsubishi Carisma 1.8 GDI LX from 1999. During my ownership I have been acquainted with the GDI engine, and it's few, but fatal flaws. I was able to get my engine running smooth, with high mileage, and no ticking/tappets from the valves. When I first got my car, it was running odd.

2014年5月21日 · Recently purchased a 45000 mile Carisma. In great shape, that was until I read about the coking up issues. It was an old fella that owned the car prior and I believes he's run it on regular UK unleaded for years. A week after taking the car, the poor starting and rough idling began. It was generally from a cold start but it gradually got worse.

2011年8月14日 · I am having some problems with the idle on my Carisma 1.8 GLS from 1997. I have tried to replace almost everything on the car but the ECU keeps lowering the idle. When the engine is warm (operating temperature), the idle drops to about 600 RPM.

2010年2月3日 · I own a Carisma 1.8 GDI since 18 months ago. We (my wife and I) have done about 30.000km to it, mixed road and city, getting 7.3 l/100km average over this period. It has been a nice to drive car and we are glad with it. Car now has 130.000km on it. Service has been done at recommended intervals and always at the Mitsubishi agent.
