2023年12月23日 · I run Mobil 1 Supercar formula in all my GM vehicles with the LT4 in it. I have a 2023 Escalade V, 2022 CT5-V Blackwing and a 2019 C7/Z06. They all call for the same oil. The ESP hasn’t been made for awhile and then they went to the X3 packaging. According to Mobil 1 and GM, the oil is the same. They just changed the packaging to Supercar.

2023年12月24日 · Mobil PDS's royally suck these days. Somebody needs to do some VOA on the new stuff. PDS dated July 2024 lists Calcium at 0.17 mass% per ASTM D4052 specs for the 0W-40.

2002年11月16日 · When Mobil 1 first came out they used something like 15% conventional oil so that the additives would mix properly. But that was a long time ago and they probably use all synthetic now. Even if they did use 15% conventional oil the product would still be 85% synthetic.

2012年10月7日 · That is a dense oil with a density of 0.8634 g/ml. MSDS only lists base oil(s) as PAO at < 5%. Usually Group III is listed by XOM. I wonder if it has more (dense) Group V than other Mobil 1 motor oils. It’s an interesting oil that I plan to test.

2022年1月30日 · for years i've been quite pleased with the mobil 1 0w40 "european car formula" they have in 5qt jugs as well as sometimes in the (excellent value!) 12qt bib packs. it's a great sae40 on the thinner side of the range, with that lovely 0w cold weather performance. truly an ideal balance of protection at operating temperature and good performance ...

2021年11月20日 · This bottle I bought for top offs claims no API SP, although the Mobil website claims it passes the wear test for it. Only claims acea c3, mb229.31, mb229.51 mb229.52, vw 504/507, and Porsche c30. Unsure of the age of the bottle

2012年4月4日 · The main difference between the two is the ZDDP content. ACEA C5 requires a 700 ppm phosphorus minimum, whereas the non-Euro Mobil 1 0W-XX varieties (excluding high-mileage and racing) are for some reason (to decrease the coefficient of friction and improve the fuel economy?) skimpy on ZDPP with 650 ppm phosphorus.

2006年12月11日 · Mobil 1 ESP X2 0W20 VOA (BITOG) It seems to be too high, but who knows. The HTHS viscosity of the 0w-20 may be an issue for some. The HTHS viscosity of the 0w-20 may be an issue for some. All things considered, I'll probably stick with the 0w-20, although the 0w-30 would probably be fine too.

2014年4月13日 · Mobil 1 has a link showing Zinc, Phosphorous and Manufacturer approvals in a nice table, linked below. Interestingly, the 0w20 offerings in the various flavours, with two exceptions ( M1 EP HM 0w20 and M1 HM 0w20 ), have lower PP and ZN levels than the other grades, including 5w20's.
