2012年8月21日 · The movie trilogy cuts out a few battles (along with a good chunk of Zeon's Mobile Armors). Frankly though, a lot of the cut battles were with named grunts who are insignificant to the overall plot, so you're not missing out on much unless you really want to see the ugly as sin Zakrello and Braw Bro.

2018年4月9日 · The movies do streamline things a bit, and changes a lot of things from the TV series, so pacing may feel all over the place as a result. For the most part, the changes are made for the better. That doesn't meant the TV series is bad or anything.

They streamline the entire experience, removing excess cruft and the stupid G-Parts nonsense, introduce the Newtype concept sooner, and just feel tighter and more epic. Everyone should watch the TV series at least once, but the movies are clearly the best way to experience 0079.

2015年3月5日 · For the original 0079, watch the movies, you won't missed much. However for zeta, watch the series instead, the three zeta movies cut a lot of good parts from the TV series, and most importantly the movie cut out the Dakar speech, which is very sad

People reccommend the compilation movies because it's often better to sit through those than through 43 episodes of 1979 Japanese tv animation. Characters and mobile suits are often very off model and look terrible. The Zeta movies do add some newly animated sequences, but the animation in Zeta wasn't as bad as the original series.

2024年4月24日 · G Gundam is a fight anime, Gundam Wing and 00 Gundam are Super Sentai teams, Witch from Mercury starts off as a High School Bout anime, Iron Blood Orphans is a Yakuza story, etc. SEED is a reinterpretation of the story of Mobile Suit Gundam that starts off the Universal Century and in that regard is more homage than anything else.

So, not all my anime, TV shows, & movies are available to watch on my Vudu, Prime, Microsoft, Apple, & Google apps on my phone, Xbox, or computer.

2011年6月8日 · The first two movies in particular don't really work as movie, per sé, but are fine so long as you keep in mind this is a stripped down television series. Although, to be be sure, there is a great deal of new animation present in the movies as well, especially in the second and third films, plus brand-new openings and closings, etc.
