2018年1月9日 · It plays like a dream and every time I play it out I get compliments on it. It's a 12 fret model, so upper fret access is a bit limited, but that has driven me to be a little more creative. I think it also has a little more low end thump, due to the bridge being further into the body.

2008年7月18日 · I also have 2 from the 90s- a hot rodded 5 string 50's reissue that was modded by McMillen to be a Kieth Richards clone, and a butterscotch one that is a Fender Japan Kieth clone, quite rare, as the Stones apparently didn't endorse the model and very few were made-all quite excellent guitars.

2017年7月15日 · And somewhat counter to many multifx, the drives are very good. Again, maybe not, super wowza, but compare very well to the ones they model. Tho there are a few awesome ones. One Id easily have used as stand alone pedals before, e.g. Overtone, Tera Echo.

2024年3月3日 · Your 5fx is a beautiful guitar. I had a Model 3 back in the late 1980s that was the same color as yours. I don't have a lot of experience with the polar body and maple through neck; I had an '88 Jackson Soloist with those specs, but I got rid of that guitar 30 years ago so I don't remember details of its tone.

2009年1月25日 · never cared for the three pup LP, the middle pup sounds bad IMO and its in the way when I am playing it, at least a fender has some space that the pups are not in the way, not such thing on the three pup LP, as far as looking cool, yeah hang the damn thang on the wall if your looking for cool, I prefer a guitar I enjoy playing, and the three pups gibson aint them.

2019年1月6日 · In the spirit of pumping the tires of the basic Chorus model, I was able to replicate my favorite analog Moog MF Chorus's most used setting: Mono Speed: 2.9 Depth 8.0 Predelay 3.2 Wave Shape Triangle Tone 4.9 Mix 50% Level +1.3 Definitely my favorite chorus model overall. The tone control is super useful too. Also, great thread!
