2021年9月9日 · No matter the 18-4 is a fine weapon. Model #'s were introduced by S&W around 1959. The K-22 became the Model 17. In 1957 S&W introduced the Model 18. Previously the Model 18 was known as the K-22 Combat Masterpiece. The 18-4 was introduced in 1977. I am lucky enough to own a K-22 CM, a Model 18 and a Model 18-3. All are lots of fun. 1953 K-22 CM

2024年12月13日 · Very nice and a great knife well worth waiting for. A few of my buddies carried the model 18 on operations. I used and I still have the Randall No 1. I also used the Kabar and AF survival knife (below) at different times. For rough field use, the Kabar got the most use as it was more of a tool than the Randall which was almost too nice to beat up.

2011年4月17日 · Saw a model 18-4 for sale recently and did some reading on this and other forums. Consensus was that S&W discontinued the 18 in or around 1985. Now it looks like they are producing again. Anyone know the numbering system of the "new" model 18? Do they number into model 18-8, 18-9, etc? Any help is appreciated. -cw

2014年12月19日 · The .22 W.M.R. Bullet is Larger in diameter than that of the .22 Long rifle cartridge. The Model 18-3's are scarse as most one's out there for the Picking are the later made model 18-4's so finding a No dash or a Model 18-1, 18-2 or your gun being a model 18-3 is a Nice Catch. 2010年12月5日 · First off, the Model 18 is essentially a 4" Model 17, or K-22. During the last gasp of the "Good" Model 17 (around -5 as I recall) there was a 4" Model 17, but this was after the Model 18 was discontinued. Secondly, I believe that the NIB 18's you are seeing on Gunbroker are the newly manufactured "Classic" Series, which are to me, anything but.

2023年2月8日 · Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! .22 M.R.F stands for .22 Magnum Rim Fire and S&W made those guns as the Model 48. Please post some pictures of your gun. The model stamp should be MOD 48-4, not 18-4, if the gun is an original .22 MRF. I can see a couple of possibilities including a bad stamp (not unheard of) or a replaced barrel.

2021年4月23日 · The Model 18-4 .22 Combat Masterpiece was the last of this model until S&W reintroduced it in the Classic series in 2004. I believe the grips on it are from the Classic. The "screws" you refer to are found on the sideplate and in front of the trigger guard.
