2024年11月15日 · FWIW, I paid ~980CHF in Switzerland 5 years ago for my 27-2 with the more common 6" barrel, in presentation case, but not in the great condition of the example you're considering. I've recently seen Model 27s and 28s go for considerably more, so they have generally appreciated in value. I would go for this offer while you can.

2025年1月3日 · Your 27-2 is pinned and recessed, and has the target trigger, target hammer and period correct target grips. Aside from the wear on the finish of the barrel it looks to be in good shape. If that was stored in a holster you should stop that now and keep it in a gun sock.

2011年1月14日 · In 1990 the 27-4 became the 27-5 when the cylinder longer stop notch was introduced. In 1993 the 27-5 became the 27-6 when the frames were drilled and tapped, the rear sight leaf was changed as well as the extractor. In 1994 the Model 27 was discontinued. In 2000 the 27-7 came out which was made by the Performance Center and was an 8 shot version.

2023年12月16日 · This is The .357 Magnum, Reg #1417. The RM is the gun that started it all WRT magnum cartridges. It was totally custom made to order. It differs from the Model 27 in its action...long-throw vs. short-throw...grip frame is longer on the RM, rear sight is not the click adjustable micro-sight, and the grips were different.

2010年2月5日 · N frame 27 and 28 have a shorter cyl (apprx 1.6") and if you try to use the 358429 172 gr Keith bullet you have to seat the bullet deeper in the case and crimp over the front driving band or else the bullet would protrude in front of the cylinder.Many a Keith type swc has been loaded and shot this way for this reason.
