I got sick of looking at the stock wood grips that came on my Rock Island Armory G.I. Model 9 MM, so I picked these up from Dan Eagle Grips. I had a tough time getting the old ones off. The screws were really tight, but finally came off without backing out the bushings. After I got the screws out, the old grips wouldn't budge.

Well I got tired again of waiting for a new Ranger Breaktop to come out so i bought myself for a birthday present, a Smith and Wesson Model 69 4.2" barrel 44 magnum, on a gunbroker auction at a very good price. I was leaning towards the 2.75" barrel, but changed my mind. I have almost all short barrels guns, and dont really need another.

I think what has kept the Marlin Model 60, (well over 11 million produced), ahead of the Ruger 10/22, (introduced in 1964, and current running around 5.7 million produced), is the combination of cost vs. accuracy. The Model 60 is substantially cheaper than the Ruger, and it's most always more accurate, as both rifles come from the box.

2025年2月28日 · I picked up this Old Model Ruger Vaquero 45 Colt a couple of weeks ago now. It has a 3 3/4" barrel. It balances beautifully in the hand. After inspecting it and cleaning it thoroughly I have come to the conclusion that even though it was made in 2000, it was never fired except for the test rounds done by Ruger.
