Mogyoród nagyközség Pest vármegyében, a Gödöllői járásban, a budapesti agglomerációban. A község Budapesttől 18 kilométerre található az M3-as autópálya mentén, a Gödöllői-dombságban, a Mogyoródi-patak völgyében.
