2014年2月22日 · Later 318/360 intake manifold front and rear end seals had plastic dowels to hold the end seals in place during assembly and to prevent them from 'blowing out' and leaking oil later on. 2021年10月11日 · Unless the 318 is already out and being rebuilt it doesn't ever seem worth the money over a 5.9. If you're set on keeping the 318 you may just need a fuel pressure regulator and intake. Somebody with the information on hand will correct me, I was reading up on this a few years ago but ultimately the answer is always just find a 5.9.

Actually, from an older thread "318 and 360 block are not the same 3.31x3.91 stroke/bore vs 3.58x4.00 stroke/bore.

2012年11月3日 · I have a newly rebuilt '82 Chrysler 318 in a 1934 Plymouth 4 dr. sedan. It has about 2000 miles on it. I noticed early on that the electric oil pressure gauge was showing only about 5 psi @ idle after the engine was hot. ( showed 20+ when cold). After engine break-in period I went to a heavier 20W50 oil and it was a little better.
