Morris Commercial Cars Limited was a British manufacturer formed by William Morris, the founder of Morris Motors Ltd. William Morris purchased several assets from E.G.Wrigley and Company when it went into liquidation in 1923.

This 1949 Morris Commercial LC3 series was purchased by the current owner in 2003, after being stored in a barn for 34 years! Restoration took place over 44 months, and in April 2007 it won a much deserved trophy as winner of the POVC rally that year.

2024年6月22日 · As an historic vehicle, the Morris is now MoT-exempt. The vehicle isn't currently running and driving, so will need recommissioning or restoration to return to the road. Paperwork with the LC3 includes the V5C, photos of the van in a derelict state, some information on its GPO career around Colchester, some technical info and invoices.

The original four cylinder Morris engine was professionally rebuilt 18 months ago by specialists in Queanbeyan NSW at a cost of over $5,000. They upgraded the big ends with replaceable slipper bearings and all ancillaries were checked and reconditioned or replaced.
