Pistolet maszynowy wz. 39 Mors (Mors is Latin for death, Polish for walrus) was a Polish submachine gun designed by Piotr Wilniewczyc and Jan Skrzypiński between 1936 and 1938. It was to have become the standard submachine gun of the Polish Army some time in the 1940s.

2023年9月2日 · Polish and early German porduction Vis has rail for wooden "kolbokabura" (idk how it is called in English, Mauser C96 is mostly known for using it). After "Mors" SMG failed, Vis was considered to be used as SMG. At beginning "Vis" was named "WiS" that means "Wilniewczyc i Skrzypiński".
