Mota is gross, for sure, but to expect skaters to purchase new skates, or assume that they can, brings about a new issue that to me, stems from privilege and supports consumerism. Plenty of skaters can’t afford a new setup.

2015年12月15日 · Apparently there was some argument with her old business partner or something, so she left Atom Skates, changed her name to Mota Matrix and is not producing Mota Skates. I guess they won't be really bad, as she has plenty of experience in skating and skate manufacturing, but you'll be hard pressed to find many people who have tried them yet.

2019年1月8日 · I have Mota Savage boots and I’ve had them for about 11 months. My first month or two I had major buyer’s remorse because I just couldn’t figure out how to heat mould them properly. They really killed the outside top/side of my feet and seemed super tight everywhere but the ankles, where it seemed I would slip out.

2024年7月1日 · TSM bought Atom Skates back in 2012, but the wording used on the Atom website is that it's a partnership with former owners. The former owners being the Qanon crazy Glass family. I know Mota is their current company, but am concerned they still have involvement with Atom Skates. Any info is appreciated!
