The Omni Mount Washington Resort is a historic luxury resort hotel in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, United States, near Mount Washington. It was designed by Charles Alling Gifford. In 1944, it hosted the Bretton Woods Conference, which established the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

2024年1月4日 · The Mt. Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods was host to one of the most important economic summits of the 20th century. From July 1-22, 1944, the hotel was the gathering place for 730 delegates from all of the 44 allied nations of that era.

The Mount Washington Hotel was constructed by railroad tycoon Joseph Stickney (of the Pennsylvania Railroad). Construction started in 1900 and the hotel opened in 1902. Stickney wanted a first-class hotel and brought in 250 Italian artisans to help in the construction.
