Bodegas Muga is a family winery founded by Isaac Muga and Aurora Caño in 1932. Today, Bodegas Muga is one of the most traditional in Rioja. The winery is located in the historic Barrio de La Estación (Station Quarter) of Haro, next to La Rioja Alta, Bodegas CVNE and other prominent bodegas.

Located on the foot of Montes Obarenses, within the area called Rioja Alta, Bodegas Muga is a charming and stunning family owned winery. Atlantic and continental climates are combined harmoniously thus creating a suitable climate for grape growing.

In 2024, Muga was ranked #23 in the World’s Best Vineyards, placing it among the finest wineries globally. Additionally, their Muga Reserva 2020 vintage was named the best Spanish wine by the renowned Wine Spectator magazine, solidifying their reputation for excellence.

2023年12月19日 · Bodegas Muga is Rioja Alta’s premier producer and the Muga family are considered to be one of Spain’s most important winemaking families. The winery has practically legendary status due to its philosophy revolving around adherence to tradition, dynamism, and winemaking of the highest quality.

A remarkable and unique experience. It consists of an hour-long flight over the Rioja vineyards, followed by a typical Riojan lunch. The experience ends with a guided tour of the winery and a sample tasting of our wines. The price for this experience is 220€ per person (including VAT).
