Indian Union Muslim League (abbreviated as the IUML or Muslim League) is a political party primarily based in Kerala. It is recognised as a State Party in Kerala by the Election Commission of India. [6]

Indian Union Muslim League was formed in March, 1948 at the south Indian city of Madras (now Chennai). The party is a major member of the opposition United Democratic Front, the Indian National Congress lead pre-poll state level alliance in Kerala.

Muslim Youth League, abbreviated as the Youth League, is the youth wing of the Indian Union Muslim League. [5] [6] Sayyid Munavvar Ali Shihab Thangal and P.K Firos currently serves as the Kerala State President and General Secretary, Youth League, respectively. [7] [8]

The Muslim League (Opposition) contested the 1977 Kerala Legislative Assembly elections by fielding 16 candidates across Kerala. The party managed to receive a total of 390,139 votes (4.45% of the polled votes in Kerala).

Indian Union Muslim League as a recognized state party on the state of Kerala hereby nominate the following 40 leaders of the party for propagating the party programmes in the ensuing General Election to the House of the People - 2024 from the state of Kerala.
