Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls, abbreviated as MWGG, is an original concept created by Lauren Faust originally from 2004 to about 2016. It is inspired by 90's Strawberry Shortcake, except the characters are different types of girls, supposedly being the personifications of space objects.
