Something I saw on a subaru board is they think maybe theres a battery for remote start in the car that dies quickly and when you lock or unlock your car with the fob it charges up the battery. I tested it after having connectivity issues for like a month now. If I lock and unlock my car I am then able to remote start successfully.

Every time we went the process of rebooting phone, remove app, reboot phone again, download and reinstall app. Change password. Password always works on the web site when using the computer to login. The app says "Something went wrong...Please try again later".

My car is three years old now, which means the free trial period for the MySubaru app is done. All I ever really used it for was to start my car in the winter during the coldest days. There’s no chance I’d pay that much just to have a remote start for a few months of the year. Seems ridiculously expensive.

2022年2月16日 · I just bought a 2021 Subaru crosstrek hybrid two weeks ago 1/31/22. Freakin pumped on it but the remote climate control start hasn't worked once!! Additionally, the Key FOB AC button doesn't go to the last settings and does not cool or heat the vehicle efficiently. My biggest concern is the My Subaru App/starlink not working.

Go to My Subaru.com and add your vehicle. Once added, see if your Starlink invoice/purchase shows under Menu top right and under Manage Subscriptions. Then, you can add the app to your phone, set up biometric fingerprint to select Remote Start, or prior, change heating /cooling presets or create your own.

I wish I could talk you through it but if I’m being honest I really don’t remember; it was a relatively new feature. I would contact your salesman and they should be able to set you up with a free appointment with their technology expert at the dealership.

As it sits, when I use remote start the temp is to 74 F. It's cold in Chicago and I want to set it higher than that. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
