Rant: very annoyed that the MyQ app has a large ad at the top of the screen. Doesn’t seem like there is anyway to remove it. The ads is a huge turnoff. MyQ is a huge turn off. I regret buying this.

2021年6月20日 · MyQ (garage door opener) app just gave me an Amazon ad as a notification. MyQ notifications are too important to disable because they tell you when someone is opening/closing the door. Check the settings inside the app. There's probably a way to disable marketing notifications. Allowing Amazon to open your garage will work out so well...

2023年12月16日 · I'm now using Meross's opener to bypass MyQ completely for this task. In conjunction with Smart Things, it has given me back all the flexibility I need to control my garage door without any subscriptions. I was plagued by the MyQ add for a long time too.

The latest app update places a giant myq ad on the main screen. Not dismissible either. Nice job myq.
