Follow Saavedro as he runs off into his retreat which is locked when you try to open the door. Go back down the ladders to the beach and turn right. Keep walking forward until you go up some rocks. Go down the rocks until you see some winding steps. Go down these steps and cross the walkway to a small cottage.

Myst 3 Exile opens with a introduction video in which we see Atrus who puts the finishing touches to his Releeshan Age book. Releeshan is the Age that Atrus wrote for the D'ni people who survived the Riven drama.

At the very bottom of the island, by the lagoon, you will find three plants. One is the home of a squee, a small rodent-like creature, the second forms a small bridge over a stream, and the third is a plant with red spores all over, the same as those underneath the bird-tusk door.

Myst 3 Exile is the third game in the Myst series. Created by Presto Studios in 2000, it was the first game not created by Cyan. It picks up 10 years after Riven ended. You get trapped in Atrus' "lesson ages" that were meant to teach Sirrus and Achenar the basics of writing ages.
